Florida Spa Resorts & Spa Vacations - Sarasota Florida

Spa Resorts and Day Spas in Sarasota Florida Vacations and weekend escapes are a chance to indulge yourself - and Sarasota is bursting with luxurious day spas that offer a wide variety of spa services. So head to one of Sarasota's many spas to be pampered with a soothing massage, relaxing pedicure, seaweed facial or therapeutic body treatment.

The Ritz Carlton (941-924-2090) in Sarasota has just opened a brand new 15,000 square foot facility with 16 treatment rooms; offering more than 90 different spa treatments and services. These include hydrotherapy in their unique river bathtub which features a tranquil cascading waterfall, and a separate ladies' and gentlemen's healing waters whirl pool which soothes and helps to relax the body. There's also a special relaxation terrace where spa cuisine is served. Services are available to hotel guests and members. They are located at 1111 Ritz-Carlton Drive.

Or try Spa Hollywood's (941-349-5380) Japanese hair straightening technique or purifying seaweed body mask. Or there's the Body and Spirit Day Spa (941-921-1388) that specializes in facials and neuromuscular or Swedish massages. Estetica by Vanda (941-953-5622) has a full range of European esthetic treatments, including facials and expert massage. A. Dodge Concept Salon & Spa (941-387-0773) offers products, and invigorating hair skin, nail and spa services.

At the Colony Beach and Tennis Resort on Longboat Key (941-383-6464) treatments are designed to "renew, relax and exhilarate." Oxygen facials revitalize the skin; while body treatments with nutrient rich seaweed improve circulation and reduce stress.

Another Sarasota spa, The Little Day Spa (941-363-9455), 1990 Main Street in Sarasota, offers a full range of spa treatments using body care products made from 100% pure essential oils, herbs, exotic botanical oils, rare plant extracts, mineral rich clays, natural vitamins and minerals.

The list goes on and on, in the Sarasota area, from Longboat Key to North Port you'll find lots of quality, professional spa treatments. For a complete list of Sarasota spas please contact the Sarasota Visitors Center at 941-957-1877.

An Ancient Natural Thermal Spa - Sarasota Florida

Relax at North Port's Warm Mineral Springs (941-426-4029) where the locals say that Warm Mineral Springs is the fountain of youth that Ponce de Leon was seeking. It's one of the area's most unusual archeological and natural spots, just a few miles from the city of North Port. With a constant year-round water temperature of 87 degrees, this 235 foot deep natural warm thermal spring has mineral rich waters that many believe restore health and beautify the skin.

The springs have a high mineral content more than Vichy and Baden Baden and the waters are a favorite with European visitors to the area. There's a wellness center offering massage, acupuncture and physical therapy; and there are plans for development of other facilities. Always open to the public.
